UNDP Sustainable Development Goals

HOW SMARTXCHANGE ALIGNS ITS OPERATIONS, PROGRAMMES, OR OUTCOMES WITH SPECIFIC SDGs.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) plays a crucial role in advancing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which aims to eradicate poverty, reduce inequalities, and build resilience so countries can sustain progress. The UNDP’s Global Goals Programme focuses on supporting countries to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through policy advice, technical assistance, and partnerships.

What are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a collection of 17 global goals set by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015, intended to be achieved by the year 2030. They are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure peace and prosperity for all.
