Transoil Women Pty Ltd is a manufacturing and innovation enterprise dedicated to sustainable waste management and green technology solutions. Our initiative, Micro Recycling Pods (MRP), directly addresses South Africa’s growing plastic waste crisis by converting township plastic waste into high-value recycled pellets — reducing ocean-bound pollution while creating local employment opportunities.

Each Micro Recycling Pod is a self-contained mobile unit that washes, shreds, and pelletises plastics at the source, processing over 300 tons annually with zero toxic emissions. The system is scalable, deployable in multiple communities, and designed to empower women and youth through training and ownership models.

This initiative supports Ethekwini Municipality’s waste infrastructure goals and contributes to South Africa’s National Waste Management Strategy. Our vision is to turn KwaMashu into a circular economy hub, transforming waste into economic value while promoting environmental sustainability and social impact.
